"My stay at Biltmore Hotel was a mixed bag. On the plus side, the rooms were spotless and the customer service was top-notch. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice touch. However, the surrounding area left a lot to be desired, with evident signs of high-end drug activity and prostitution. Despite this, the hotel itself felt safe and secure."

This place is working on improvements and renovations including the rooms. My bed was very comfortable and they even provided a small fridge so I could store my groceries that I picked up. My only real concern was that while there was a security presence, there were some of the locals that were wandering the grounds, too. Hopefully, the location will continue to improve. All the staff members were great! Thanks for making the stay a great experience.

It's a pretty decent stay, especially compared to others. Keep in mind that it was a Hotel and still is by definition, however it is definitely a Motel with it's prices and amenities. The area has plenty of of stores, places to eat, and other businesses, for convenience. It's very peaceful, (and speaking from weekends as well). I like it's layout and large windows. I didn't experience any of the issues that other reviews have said. The staff was nice. The hallways and room were clean. The only problem I had was the entrances to the interior hallways didn't work most of the time, sometimes even activating the green light with the keycard but still not opening. So there's a chance you might have to walk all the way around to the lobby. Fortunately the other guests seemed polite, and might hold the door for you if you needed to just run to your car and back. Otherwise you had to use a piece of paper to keep it from latching.

The most interesting experience in a hotel I would say I've almost ever had. The place is like a time capsule. Almost museum-like. It seems it has succumbed to the addicts. It's an interesting place to stay and explore the glass artifacts from a time once vibrant. if you have the will power. On a side note I awoke in the middle of the night and witnessed a mouse in my room dressed in a tuxedo..I assumed it was a transients pet and went about my sleep

The Biltmore Hotel get 4 stars from us simply because of Ali, the night time receptionist. He was helpful, kind and Informative. The Biltmore should be happy they have an excellent employee such as he. HOWEVER, I didn’t know the hotel was as old as it is. Investors should really make changes to this place. It used to be the place to be with the amenities, but….structurally, it needs help. Our sheets were clean( we only used the top sheet) the bathroom was clean, the place has just suffered over the decades. Some of the photos in the hallways are so old, they look like undeveloped pictures. Don’t go by the pictures on their website, it doesn’t look like that. The walls are thin, it got loud through out the hallways during the night, we didn’t know it was so heavily populated with addicts, and homeless. It definitely looks different during the day than at night. I guess that’s why it was affordable than the surrounding more expensive hotels
